The American Boulangerie
Mention Bay Bread boulangerie to any San Franciscan and they either drool, moan ecstatically, or both. Working with Bay Books and our long-time colleague, book producer Tina Salter, we set out to create the same effect with words and pictures, providing the elegantly classic-modern design, art-directing the evocative food and location photography, and providing the first-person narrative that brings to life the “baker’s soul” of founder Pascal Rigo.
